Shopify B2B
Wholesale on the Shopify store you already run
Company accounts, catalogs, quantity rules, and payment terms for brands selling to other businesses. Native Shopify B2B is a Plus feature. The implementation is the storefront plus the prices and customers behind it.
Who this is for
Established brands that already sell on Shopify, or are moving there, and also sell to retailers, distributors, or other companies. The usual problem is a wholesale process that still lives in email and spreadsheets while the DTC store is on Shopify.
WB Digital is a Shopify development studio in British Columbia and works remotely. B2B work sits with the rest of Shopify development. It is not a separate wholesale design offer.
What the build covers
- Companies
- Company profiles, locations, and the staff who are allowed to order for that account.
- Catalogs and prices
- Who sees which products, quantity rules, and volume pricing. Guest shoppers do not need to see wholesale prices.
- Checkout and terms
- B2B checkout and payment terms, such as net terms, where the plan supports them.
- The existing DTC store
- Wholesale added beside retail, with a login and a catalog that does not break the public shop.
Prices have to come from somewhere
A catalog inside Shopify is enough when the price list is small and someone on the team can maintain it. It is the wrong system of record when each company has prices, terms, or inventory rules that already live in an ERP. In that case the B2B storefront and the integration are one project. NetSuite is a common source of those prices. That connection is described on the NetSuite and Shopify page.
B2B projects are scoped from the number of companies, the price rules, and whether an ERP is involved. They are not sold as a fixed theme package.
Questions
Do you build Shopify B2B stores?
- Yes. Native company accounts, catalogs, quantity rules, volume pricing, and payment terms are implemented on Shopify Plus. WB Digital is not a Shopify Plus partner. The work is the storefront and the data behind those accounts.
Can you add B2B to an existing Shopify store?
- Yes, when the store is on a plan that includes Shopify B2B. Many projects add company accounts and wholesale catalogs to a store that already sells direct to consumer. A separate wholesale site is not the default.
What if the store is not on Shopify Plus?
- Native B2B company accounts and catalogs require Shopify Plus. On another plan, the options are a Plus move, or a narrower custom or app-based wholesale setup. We will say which one fits before any build starts.
Can wholesale prices come from an ERP?
- Yes. Company-specific prices often live in NetSuite or another ERP, not in a spreadsheet next to the theme. That connection is part of the project when the store should not be the place prices are retyped.
